I am suffering with nodular scabies since a month now. One of my friend told me to use “Permethrin” cream. I tried a lot to find it in Saudia but its not available. Can somebody tell me with what name its sold in Saudia. If no, what is alternate?

I used permethrin about 4 weeks ago to treat my scabies. Although my skin has cleared up and my doctor assured me that the scabies is gone, my skin still feels itchy. The itch comes and gos but I am able to sleep at night so that’s a big plus. The dermatologist says that the cream irritates the skin but he said i should have been fine by now..Is this normal? Or have I developed an allergy or something. How long before I feel 100% normal?

My son and I both had scabies and were treated for it. Mine was mostly my thighs. Almost 2 months later, my thighs still itch occasionally and have bumps that won’t go away. I often have a rash after my shower. The rash looks very much like the scabies I had before, but it doesn’t constantly itch. And it comes and goes, very unlike scabies. My 2 yr old healed completely after treatment. His skin was perfect until about a week ago when he started getting strange bumps as well. He says they don’t itch at all, but on his hand especially there is a cluster that looks like his foot did when he had scabies. He also gets a rash when he gets out of the shower that covers his cheeks, arms, legs, and sometimes his sides. Can someone tell me what it is we’re going through? Thanks ^_^

A week ago, I was diagnosed of scabies and the doctor suggested me Permethrin 5% oinment. I applied it all over the body from head to toe. They say generally one application is curative and after treatment, itching may continue for up to 4 weeks.I am ok with itching. How do I know the scabies mites are going off the skin?How do I know the treatment is working?

Hello Everyone, I have taken scabies treatment. Permithrin 5%. I had crawling sensation and also new bites starting from next day only. So after a week, i have taken another treatment permithrin 5%. Again from next day, i have crawling and the number of bites increased. I am confused. Please help me what to do…Thanks
